Merge[edit]

If you mean replace this section by a link to List of people by name: Yo#People named Young, and merge these in, I agree. But what about Smith, and others. CS46 21:07, 9 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Oppose I disagree with the merge. I think a name page should be separate and distinct form a List of People page. It has the added feature of other uses of the name and can also point to related names in the see also section that a list page can not. However, work should be done to make sure all names are included on the list pages. TonyTheTiger 18:57, 28 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Restored primary meanings[edit]

Wikipedia is not Wiktionary, but here's a case where disambiguation zealotry went too far. The primary meaning of "young" is either youth or children (offspring), both of which were on the original page in 2003, and were summarily removed and never restored until now. For anyone hearing this rant in the wilderness, please don't remove short opening sentences that can be wikilinked to one or two defining articles. That is all. --Yamara 14:08, 19 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
