Chinese names[edit]

What is the correct precedent for romanizing Chinese names that still use older romanizations. For example Peking (Beijing), Yenching (Yanjing), Tsinghua (Qinghua), and so on. When people say these in Chinese they are pronounced properly. So does it not make sense to provide a similar translation alongside the older English pronunciations.
