Merger proposal[edit]

The Yau Ma Tei Boat People in Hong Kong page should be merged into this article, this falls in the category of WP:CFORK, since without Yau Ma Tei Typhoon Shelter, there would be no Ya Ma Tei Boat People. Tvtr (tlk–cntrbtn) 06:22, 20 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Oppose. These are two separate subjects. I wouldn't expect an article about a typhoon shelter to be primarily about the people who live in the shelter. Both the shelter and the people are notable in their own right. DoctorKubla (talk) 14:59, 21 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
