1. Other Indian online travel companies such as http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MakeMyTrip and http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IXiGO.com have a wikipedia page.

2. Yatra.com is of more significance because it has leading bollywood actor salman khan associated with it as the brand ambassador and would like to know more about this association.

3. Investors such as Reliance Venture Asset Management Ltd, TV18 Group, Norwest Venture Partners and Intel Capital have invested substantially in the company.

It seems Yatra is the first travel website to have made 3 acquisitions. As a customer, I would want to know who has invested in this Yatra.com venture and what all it is buying out. This allows me to understand the motives and ambitions of Yatra.com Secondly, Salman Khan as a brand ambassador is an open public endorsement and I would want to understand how he fits into this. I have used the services of this travel website along with a few others. It would be useful to have transparent info about this.[reply]
