'The' changed to 'an'.[edit]

Since this is a matter of dispute, there is more accuracy in:

'The title "Yahweh" is an English rendition of the Hebrew name for God.'

There are other, widely-used variants such as Jehovah. Norm Eagle (talk) 22:54, 15 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Name[edit]

"The title "Yahweh" is an English rendition of the Hebrew name for Jehovah."

As far as I know, Jehovah is a modern version for the original Hebrew that had no vowels but only consonants (any expert out there?). Anyway, I think the phrase in the article is not accurate at all, because "Jehovah is an English rendition of the Hebrew name for Yahweh" seems to be true as well. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Guillermogp (talkcontribs) 12:48, 6 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
