Here is some misunderstanding in this article. Softstar, along with DOMO, is originally started out in Taiwan and made a hit with Xuan Yuan Kain series. However, DOMO is disband after Softstar moves the company to China around 2003 (not reliable account) and thous the title is continued by the Chinese crew. I am not sure if this should be mention in the article as it falls in better for the company description for Softstar, but then, this action has infect causes several changes in the series and effect its fan base. I will look for English professions fans as best as I can, but don't count me on that too much as I knew little about the series myself.

To Marlon: You must be mistaken. The series you are referring to is The Legend of Sword and Fairy, in which the original group (Crazy Boyz) was disbanded, and Softstar's Shanghai subsidiary continued making the series in mainland China. However, just recently after the release of The Legend of Sword and Fairy 4, Softstar Shanghai was also disbanded, and apparently the group that will continue making the series is Softstar Beijing. As for the Sword of Xuan Yuan, DOMO group never disbanded. There were a few members that came in and left, but the group has always existed, and is still based in Taiwan.

Sorry for the misunderstanding. However, I still feel kind of uneasy that this article dose not mention the fact that this game is develop by Taiwan's gaming company, while The Legend of Sword and Fairy articles address to that. It's better to keep this articles as accurate as possible since we don't have an article for eaither Softstar or DOMO at this moment. --Marlon unknown (talk) 03:21, 21 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Lianyao Hu (煉妖壺)[edit]

Any suggestions on what the English name of this should be? The first part is tricky and the second part can be pot, jar, vessel, container, kettle, urn, flask, bottle, or perhaps something else. Dream of Mirror Online calls it Pandora's Box and refers to the Spirit as Genie of the Jar. The Gate of Firmament's English release sometimes refers to it as kettle and sometimes urn, but may not be official, since English translations for many proper names vary throughout the game. On that same topic, how about 伏羲琴? Should it be the Fuxi Zither or the Koto of Fuxi? Armormew (talk) 15:13, 16 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Waizhuan Translation[edit]

Hello again. I'm wondering if anyone has suggestions on how Waizhuan should be translated in the titles for the games. Gaiden describes the games well, but is a Japanese term, Tales might be confused with the Tales (of) series, Waizhuan by itself isn't comprehensible for non-Chinese readers, and EX (what Softstar used for Gate of Firmament's Steam trailer) - isn't quite accurate (though Standalone Expansion might work). Or perhaps we can revert these back to Legend? I would appreciate any input.
