Xu Jiyu or Xu Jishe?[edit]

I have my doubts whether the name of this official/geographer is transcribed correctly. The last character of his name (畲) can be pronounced as both 'yu' and 'she'. So the name 徐继畲 is either transcribed in Latin script as 'Xu Jiyu' or 'Xu Jishe'. I have consulted different native speakers of Chinese about how to say/transcribe his name and they come up with different answers. Fred Drake, who wrote the book cited under "Further Reading", refers to him as Xi Jiyu (or rather Hsü Chi-Yü in the old transcription system), but sources that refer to him as Xu Jishen can also be found, like here: https://www.aki-goettingen.de/en/activity/prof-shaoxin-dong-fudan-university-shanghai-pr-china-the-introduction-of-the-term-asia-into-china-and-chinese-responses/

Maybe this alternative transcription of his name can be added to the article?
