Re Xian, no citation is necessary. It's common knowledge.

The X in Xian is like the X in Xmas. If "xmas" = "christmas", then "xian" = "christian".

That's original research without a citation. Extending a rule from one instance to another is a leap of logic, which is OR. I've checked three on-line dictionaries and two paper dictionaries, including my copy of the compact Oxford English Dictionary. WLU 13:55, 9 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
The Compact edition? lol Try the full length edition. 212.42.188.177 (talk) 15:34, 26 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

See also?[edit]

Is the "See Also" section really necessary? The only item under it is Xi'an (disambiguation), which just redirects here anyway. Peterjoel (talk) 14:18, 1 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

You are right. Seems it was overlooked when the pages were combined. I have removed it.--JohnBlackburnewordsdeeds 14:57, 1 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
