X factor in stategy[edit]

There is another usage of x-factor, that which a business do than most of its competitor and keeps it at a competitive advantage

X factor as a variable[edit]

There's some mention of X-factor as a mathematical variable in the page's header, but no link to any actual Wiki pages referring to this aspect in depth. Is there one? It should be linked here... 69.105.66.145 (talk) 06:19, 9 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Including all X Factor pages[edit]

I don't see how this is "totally pointless for the purposes of a dab page" when that's the actually point of a dab page, to list all articles with the same name. Also, dab pages may include red links if another article includes that red link. AnemoneProjectors 22:12, 10 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The point of the page is to direct people between totally different topics with the same title, not variations on a theme - that is what list articles are for. Why should people looking for the other uses have to wade through a list of x-factor franchises to get to the other uses? If the list is so necessary (and it is totally duplicated at the main article), then it can maybe be put in a bare list, and included here as a single entry. Anything else is just complete overkill and duplication, and misses the point of true disambiguation. MickMacNee (talk) 22:28, 10 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Well I've made an edit more inkeeping with WP:DAB, but someone wanting the Greek or Italian version, for example, may still type "x factor". AnemoneProjectors 22:38, 10 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
