Some sort of info about X[edit]

Jahseh is actually from Pompano Beach and Fort Lauderdale, Florida. If you noticed this sentence from his Legal Issues section "Onfroy was arrested again later that month on charges of false imprisonment, witness tampering, and aggravated battery of a pregnant victim" is believed to be his pregnant girlfriend Geneva. He was not a bad person, he suffered from a lot of mental illnesses and wanted to make a change in the world, unfortunately, he died before he could finish his journey. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.187.209.205 (talk) 22:46, 18 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

As he's released from prison, he stated that he's working on three projects. But first, I gotta say that Bad Vibes Forever released online so change "TBA" to "2016". He has 2 new albums named "17" and "I Need Jesus" and a new collaboration album named "Members Only Vol. 3". On August, 23 2017 Janseh Onfroy committed suicide by hanging

I'll change this post if I notice anything should be on here. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 85.106.150.147 (talk) 04:23, 30 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The Controversial Age of Jahseh D. Onfroy / 'XXXTENTACION'[edit]

I have noticed some heavy debate among fans, due to the fact that X keeps his personal information as private as possible, especially his age, and I have seen several sources claim different ages. One source claims that he was born in 1998, and is 19 years old, but another source speculates that he was actually born in 1997, and is in-fact 20 years old. His birthday is on January 23, so in order for him to be 19, he would have had to have just turned 19, right?

If he was 19 when the No Jumper interview took place, that means that on January 23, 2017, he must've turned 20, right?

How old was he when the No Jumper interview took place? (April 27, 2016)

In the genre section of the musical artist infobox, I would like Rock to be added as a genre. XXXTentacion has made many rock songs such as FAILURE IS NOT AN OPTION Interlude, Valentine, Garette's Revenge, and KING. These songs that I listed do not fit into the Rap or R&B genre at all, therefore presenting XXXTentacion as simply a Rap, Trap, and R&B artist is inaccurate and a misrepresentation of him that puts him in a box. So please add Rock as a genre to the musical artist infobox genre section. Mixoris (talk) 06:22, 21 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

As visible on the Wikipedia page, XXXTentacion has many genres. Having so many genres, I don't think it would be accurate to just box him in as a rapper. I would like it to say "artist" instead or if not that, then "rapper and singer." I would hope the Wikipedia page itself would be a reliable source due to it being protected and only edited if the source provided is reliable. Mixoris (talk) 14:01, 9 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Not done for now: The list of genres is unsourced and no, it doesn't count as reliably-sourced just because it is under page protection. Looking at the sources in the article, particularly those surrounding his legal trouble and not his chart position or the like, most sources agree on describing him as just a "rapper". Wikipedia follows what sources say. I recognize that this area of music is particularly likely for most media to have systemic biases and mis-characterizations, but "correcting" those by deciding for ourselves what to call him is to risk violating the No Original Research policy. This is the line in question: The "xxxtentacion" Youtube channel uploaded the video "#THEHELPINGHANDCHALLENGE" on the same day. The video included Onfroy donating $20,000 worth of items to a foster home.[84]

And it needs to be changed to "over $10,000" not $20,000. There is NO report out that confirms that figure, it was alluded to in one Instagram story, yet never shown/proven. The article (84) that this links to doesn't even mention the $20,000 figure.

I chased this story down, speaking with the foster home (SOS Florida) as well as compiling the list of gifts & their prices from both Walmart & Guitar Center. Both accounts come up far short of $20,000 & SOS would not confirm that he had pledged that amount. Publishing the full figure as fact on this wiki page, at $20,000--when it is not confirmed--is bogus and needs to be changed to "over $10,000"

If you have doubts, you can run these numbers against #TheHelpingHandChallenge video. I took my own time to sort through both what is seen and spoken of in the video. Here are the breaks:

Walmart Prices

5 x D SERIES 32" HDTV ($144.99 - $199.99) = $1000 (at $200) 8 x PS4 (He says 10 @ 5:53) = $2690 (at $269) 6 x LAPTOP (HP 481?) (Confirmed at 6:06) ($219-1200) $3000 (at $500) 16-20 PS4 Games - ($20-60) $800 (at $40)

= $7760, before tax Guitar Center Prices

1 x Code 49 Keyboard ($299) 1 x Keyboard Stand ($30) 1 x GigMaker Acoustic Guitar ($169) 1 x DW 3000 Hardware pack ($349) 1 x Yamaha Stage Custom Birch 5pc Drum Shell Pack ($649) 1 x Fender Acoustic Guitar Starter Pack ($139-150) 1 x Pair of Drum Sticks (~$10) 1 x Drum Throne ($46-170) 1 x RoadRunner Premium Drum Rug ($55.99-79.99) 1 x Boom Cymbal ($50-120)

= ~$1,911, before tax

Random Things He Mentions ~ 5:38 in #TheHelpingHandChallenge video:

Teddy Bears (i.e. Pokemon) (29.99 10x)= $300 Composition Notebooks - $50

= ~$350

Random bags of TUFF clothes (i looked online & couldn't find anything called TUFF)

estimated ~$700 in clothes.

  $7,760

+ $1,911 + $350 + $700 ——————————————

$10,721

Even this figure is generous, but it is not $20,000. A lot of people are going to read that number and think he did twice the amount of good for these kids. If you can find ANY evidence of him spending $20,000, please show me or link to it. The link you directed us to doesn't say a word about that figure.

Thank you. Daeclan tha chef (talk) 05:39, 1 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Partly done: Rather than replace the $20k figure with your original research, I replaced the text in question with "musical instruments, video game consoles, and other gifts", to bring it in line with the source. —KuyaBriBriTalk 22:15, 1 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Real question is why are you so bothered? You could have just simply said the opening sentence but it seems you have a vendetta against the artist "A lot of people are going to read that number and think he did twice the amount of good for these kids", and if he did that much for those kids whats the issue? KuyaBriBri made a good choice here, your original research is most likely lacking anyway. CoughingCookieHeart (talk) 15:56, 3 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Infobox image[edit]

Hello, I think we should discuss which image of the subject should be used in the infobox. XXXTentacionFebruary2018 (cropped).png, the current image used, has been nominated for deletion but will likely stay on the website because of its suitable Flickr license. The general "policy" is to use up to date images to best represent the subject of the article, however the subject has recently died so there will likely not be new images emerging, and we should think about which image would best represent him during his lifetime. What I mean here is, how for example Dr. Seuss is pictured in 1957 in the infobox (42 years before his death) despite newer images existing, because the image best represents him during his lifetime.

I say this because, in my personal and subjective opinion, Xxxtentacion.jpg is the clearest, most colour correct and in general, best image we have of the subject. I believe that XXXTentacion-MugShotDec2017-Cropped.png is too close up and dark (though brightness correction may help), and that the current image is too low resolution, and also similarly dark. I would like to see if others agree, or what your input may be. Thanks, Lazz_R 13:20, 19 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

The article seems to cover 2017-2018 events in extremely high detail. A lot of this could be trimmed and condensed, and to focus only on the most important details. Does the Drake feud need to be covered in such detail, including sentences saying that Drake liked a certain post on instagram?

The Controversies and Public image sections should also be integrated into the career section. Harizotoh9 (talk) 17:26, 19 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

As the main contributor to this article and the reason its as long as it is (I've put over 20+ hours into this one article alone) I've mainly added the Instagram line to indicate that the feud was still implied to be ongoing months after it seemed to have stopped and the fact the liking of the post by Drake is very irregular due to Drake being a big name and the artist at the time barely having a hot 100 hit. I'm also going to request you don't trim the 2017-2018 section down due to the amount of time I've personally put into it that I'd hate to disappear (I'm sure you're empathic to the fact I've dedicated so much time into the article) and the fact that his career was so short that its not going to be expanded anytime soon anyway... Thanks for the input. CoughingCookieHeart (talk) 23:14, 19 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I agree with @Harizotoh9: that there is much intricate and unnecessary detail here. There are relevant policies and guidelines applicable here, such as WP:DUE and WP:RECENT. @CoughingCookieHeart: you are also exhibiting an early form of WP:OWN: the article content does not belong to you, this is a collaborative process where you have assigned a free license for what you have written, so that this community may critique and improve it. The main concern here is that we have a policy-compliant WP:BLP article, and not to document every mundane moment in every social media outlet. This man was known as a musician who recorded and released albums, and that needs to be a primary focus here. Yes, his public image factored greatly into his life, short as it was, but that public image can be condensed and summarized, just as any great film plot line may be condensed into 400-700 words. 2600:8800:1880:91E:5604:A6FF:FE38:4B26 (talk) 23:36, 19 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@2600:8800:1880:91E:5604:A6FF:FE38:4B26:, I don't know why you feel the need to be rude. You haven't even got an account yet you know so much about the site, it sends me very weary on why you immediately come to the defense but I won't speculate. I was just requesting that you respect the time and effort put into the page by me, of course its a collaborative process but considering I've put a good chunk (atleast 100 edits) into this. I'd love it if the trimming wasn't so excessive, his public image was reported on widely because he was known in his life as a controversial artist and that is clearly being shown in the articles about his death (constant talk about abuse allegations, attacking fans, his beef with Drake, etc etc.) I really don't know why people who literally never edit BLP pages feel the need to speak on BLP pages but I was just offering my input. There's no need to be rude, mean or spiteful towards me. Thank you. CoughingCookieHeart (talk) 23:44, 19 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I did not intend to be rude, and on review, I cannot find the slightest rudeness in my comment. I am sorry that you are offended, but I simply intended to give my critique of the content of the article as it stood. Crime[edit]

Here's something, now that we have a plethora of editors: it appears that the subject of this biography was charged with a slew of crimes including witness tampering and intimidation, domestic abuse, armed robbery and assault, etc. That entire "Legal issues and controversy" section is poorly written and confusing, and it seems if there are things missing. It needs to be rewritten and it needs to be made clear what happened to all the charges, and what the state of affairs was--he died while released but had yet to go trial? And I wonder if that shouldn't be in the lead, since it is so highly publicized. BTW given the flood of celebrity tweets, I found this insightful, but I suppose that's not for here. Semi-protected edit request 2, 21 June 2018[edit]

The infobox says "Homicide by shooting" but this is not supported by any WP:RS and in fact cannot be: "Homicide" is a criminal charge that is adjudicated in a court of law, and this violates WP:BLPCRIME. Many "sources" of poor reliability are reporting on alleged "facts" in this case, and I do not think that we need to jump on the bandwagon of accusing people of "Homicide" when nobody has been arrested, charged, pleaded, or convicted of anything at all. Please change "Homicide by shooting" to "Gunshot wounds" as widely reported by news sources. 2600:8800:1880:91E:5604:A6FF:FE38:4B26 (talk) 02:37, 22 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

  • Thanks. Drmies (talk) 03:45, 22 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Technically, homicide can just mean the killing of another person. If anything, its inclusion in the |death_cause= parameter may be redundant rather than violating WP:BLPCRIME given it is not accusing anyone of a crime. The sources report that Onfroy died of gunshot wounds fired by someone else. That is homicide by definition regardless of whether it is legally prosecuted or even intentional. Specifying that it was homicide disambuguates the cause of death from having been a suicide, something about which Onfroy talked and rapped often. I think specifying homicide is due, but this is a minor issue and not really worth dispute. I just don't want us assuming that specifying homicide (especially when wikilinked) is a WP:BLPCRIME-violating criminal accusation. —Nøkkenbuer (talkcontribs) 15:51, 22 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, so now that a suspect is arrested and has been charged, what does that say about leveling a "cause of death" unequivocally as "homicide"? Seems to me that we'd be asked to draw a natural conclusion there, a conclusion I'd rather not approve in a WP:BLP. 2600:8800:1880:91E:5604:A6FF:FE38:4B26 (talk) 18:38, 22 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Since homicide can simply mean killing another person, I do not think specifying that it was a homicide implies anything about the suspect, nor indeed of the legality of the homicide, since the information is pertaining to the cause of death and not the relationship between the suspect and the subject or the criminal liability of the event. Some may assume that connection, but that is not what would be explicitly stated or implicitly suggested in the information.
WP:BLPCRIME would be very relevant if we stated that the suspect committed a crime when no conviction has been established, but its relevance to simply stating the cause and manner of death of the subject is dubious at best. Should we suppress the entire claim of a shooting as indirectly suggesting that some suspect somewhere committed a crime for which we have no documented conviction? Of course not. On that topic, however, where WP:BLPCRIME may be more appropriate is in suppressing the name of the suspect in this article and the Shooting of XXXTentacion article as a potential violation. That, I think, is a more credible concern than simply stating that Onfroy died by the actions of another (i.e., homicide).
Lastly, I might as well mention that Onfroy's Wikidata entry states simply "homicide" as the "manner of death". —Nøkkenbuer (talkcontribs) 19:54, 22 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, let's entertain the notion that the description is apt in this article. Which reliable secondary sources describe his death as "homicide"? I have looked through five or six; I found the sensationalist tabloid TMZ alone calling it "murder" and zero sources using the term "homicide". So how can you justify this description that's plainly just not even in the sources? 2600:8800:1880:91E:5604:A6FF:FE38:4B26 (talk) 20:06, 22 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
In fact, multiple reliable sources explicitly specify that Onfroy's death was a "murder" and other sources describe Onfroy as having been killed by someone else or otherwise obviously imply as much (Have you ever seen a suicide described as "a shooting" or being "gunned down"?), which is homicide by definition regardless of whether the actual term homicide is used. All of the aforementioned sources are currently cited in the Shooting of XXXTentacion article, as well, and that was not an exhaustive set. Beyond that, Refinery29 reported that the Broward County Sheriff's Department is considering it a "homicide", the Las Cruces Sun-News described it as "yet another homicide", and the Miami New Times detailed "the aftermath of the homicide".
Regardless, I think whether the word homicide itself is used in any of the sources is not relevant so long as they clearly describe a homicidal event, since the latter alone demonstrates that homicide is an uncontroversial classification of the manner of death. At that point, I would consider it to basically be close paraphrasing with a synonym. Were it not for my concerns about violating WP:BLPCRIME, the reliable source support for describing this as a "murder" is very strong even given it is an exceptional claim. —Nøkkenbuer (talkcontribs) 04:33, 23 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Place of death[edit]

It is not made clear in the article whether Onfroy died in his car or in hospital. If it is the latter, the place of death should be changed to Pompano Beach, Florida. Lordtobi () 07:04, 19 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

  • Newer reports state that he died in hospital, so I'm going bold. Lordtobi () 17:11, 22 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • @Magnolia677: I partially reverted your edit as it clearly introduced factual errors: Broward Health North, the hospital he was rushed to, and Riva Motorsports are located in Pompano (specifically, the Pompano Beach Highlands) rather than Deerfield, like early reports stated. You can easily verify this on the Riva's own website ([2]), Google Maps ([3]]) and several reliable sources, like the New York Times one I just inserted into the article. Please discuss here before making changes to the death location. Lordtobi () 09:26, 24 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Lordtobi: Broward Health North is in Deerfield Beach. This was mentioned in the source I cited, and can be viewed on the hospital's website. Magnolia677 (talk) 09:33, 24 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not quite sure why their website says so, but the hospital is clearly located south of the city border when viewed on a map. Our own article backs this up with several reliable sources. Lordtobi () 09:40, 24 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Magnolia677: Okay I'll have to take back a portion of what I said. I was able to acquire a shot of the border line between the two citites ([4]) and BHN truly is in Deerfield. Riva, on the other hand, is located on the street that parallels with the border (Riva marked with a red dot), and while their website states that they are in Pompano Beach their visible location makes Deerfield a more apparent location. This raises the following questions: Where is Riva actually located? Is our article on BHN incorrect? Did Onfroy die on spot (technically Pompano per the website) or at hospital (Deerfield)? Lordtobi () 09:58, 24 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
As far as i know, all the sources claim he died in the nearest hospital, so he died in Deerfield. Openstreetmaps claims that Riva is still in Deerfiled. Maps are weird.--Lirim | T 10:24, 24 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Per this edit, I am not sure that the phrase "Onfroy had impregnated a woman" is such a dignified way to indicate that he and his partner conceived a child. Furthermore, I am not sure the tabloid-quality sources being heavily cited in this article are reliable secondary sources such as can be admitted to a WP:BLP. I realize the current image has the best quality, but in light of the music video for "Sad!", where X fights his old self (represented by the half brown and black dyed hair style) and his notes at the end, in which he claims to be changing for the better, it seems he would rather be remembered as the man he was when the this image was taken:

The lead image is supposed to be a visual representation of how the person looked in relevance towards the article. Since the article highlights his career and he did have that hairstyle for the majority of his career, it serves as a better lead picture than the one you are proposing. As well, this is his most familiar photo within the general public (used as promotional art frequently). If we merge now, we'll probably inevitably have to rr-split the article later. Nikki Lee 1999 (talk) 22:50, 21 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose, at least for now. These pages (SoundCloud rap articles in general it seems..) are prone to vandalism and the high volume of edits would make it harder to spot vandalism in the rest of the article. Reconsider this in a month or two when the article is more stable, it will also be more clear if this should be a separate article or not. Alexis Jazz (talk) 02:11, 22 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
    • I am not aware how a high volume of edits might warrant splitting articles. I have seen thousands of high-profile articles with extremely high volumes of editing activity and this ain't one of them. For one thing, both this WP:BLP and its fork are semi-protected: that drastically cuts down the rate of edits and improves scrutiny of all of them. In fact you are reducing scrutiny when you retain this split, because it stands to reason that there are even fewer people watching two articles than just one in a central place. 2600:8800:1880:91E:5604:A6FF:FE38:4B26 (talk) 02:29, 22 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
      • Shorter articles are easier to maintain and check. I don't know if I would support splitting the article, but that's irrelevant because that's not the question. The split has already happened. The question now is if these articles should be merged, and I'm opposing that, at least for now. Why the rush? Take another look at this in a month or two and it'll be much clearer how big the lasting impact of this event is. Alexis Jazz (talk) 03:04, 22 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
        • It would seem that the "rush" was less than 24 hours to split this article and create a new fork. That's the rush: some of us are campaigning to slow down a little bit, wait and see what develops. It wouldn't be "rushing" to re-merge the articles. Quite the opposite. 2600:8800:1880:91E:5604:A6FF:FE38:4B26 (talk) 03:15, 22 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

General discussion[edit]

  • Comment That this article is already quite long is not a good argument to oppose merging; rather, it should be an invitation to trim down the article, which is way over the top in its detail. As for this being "one of the most relevant murders in this year", well. Drmies (talk) 17:14, 20 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment Maybe we should wait several days to see if news breaks on anything further regarding the shooting as its one of the most notable murders this year. If nothing happens then I do support a merger, yes.CoughingCookieHeart (talk) 17:46, 20 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
    • This issue is, like what @Inter&anthro was saying, spinoff articles are not made as a preemptive measure before details arise. TOMASTOMASTOMAS 🆃🅰🅻🅺 04:07, 27 June 2018 (UTC) they're made after the details emerge.[reply]
  • Comment I would wait too, we don't know how the situation will develop. The man was killed two days ago, keep that in mind.--Lirim | T 18:24, 20 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment Although I get why we should wait, I think that people wouldn't like having to go to two separate articles for this information, especially since people come to this page expecting the details into the murder of XXXTentacion. I completely support a merger. Jsraynault (talk) 23:07, 20 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment I don't know about other editors but I plan to consistently edit the page based around his murder with details on the investigation and the events at hand as theyre revealed more. I don't think we should bloat the page anymore than it possibly is. CoughingCookieHeart (talk) 02:15, 21 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
    • With all due respect, a significant fact of the "bloat" you accuse here is in the intricate detail in the "Personal life" section, which we have already discussed. For measurement, this section accounts for 2,398 words of prose. The complete article is 5,385 words. So almost half of this 87KB article on a deceased 20-year-old rapper with two albums is about his feuds and activity on social media. Perhaps this would be the part to spin off into a new article, unless it's actually all WP:UNDUE and deserves to be condensed drastically. 2600:8800:1880:91E:5604:A6FF:FE38:4B26 (talk) 02:42, 21 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment: I will submit no opinion here, either for or against the merge; what I will say, though, is that I do recognize and respect the reasoning behind the divergent opinions. I will echo Lirim's reminder about it being a developing story. On the one hand, the incident itself has qualities of notability; on the other, the incident and death of the man is half of a week old (as of this post), and is therefore not mature history at this time. I do believe that if the murder of this person is notable in and of itself, then that will be made most clear in the coming weeks/months, and is not explicitly so at this point. Mungo Kitsch (talk) 03:48, 22 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment - don't want to be rude but the vast majority of oppose !voters are blatantly misinterpreting WP:SPINOFF. There must be coverage and content before you create and article, not that someone starts and article than argues that it needs to be kept because they say coverage will come. Most of the content and sources in this article are pretty run of the mill. Should we make an article titled Musical career of XXXTentacion or Artistic style of XXXTentacion? Per WP:BEANS I'll stop but I think it is pretty obvious that this content could serve fine in the main article. Inter&anthro (talk) 14:06, 23 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment I'm not sure of the merger process but I hope the closer would consider the fact that many of the opposers are WP:SPAs while most of the supporters are experienced established editors with strong arguments. • The article might get bigger in the future and when that time comes, splitting could be justified but for now it's the split that is premature. The editor whose username is Z0 17:03, 11 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Funeral Home Request Update[edit]

Funeral An open casket service for Onfroy took place at the BB&T Center on June 27 where fans were allowed to pay their respects.[101][102] His private funeral took place on June 28 where rappers Lil Uzi Vert, Lil Yachty and singer Erykah Badu were among the attendees.[103] He was entombed in a mausoleum at Gardens of Boca Raton Memorial Park, Boca Raton, Florida. Visitors are encouraged to submit a request to visit.[1][104] — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sklamark (• contribs) 17:19, 23 July 2018 (UTC) Sklamark (talk) 20:17, 3 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Additions to XXXTentacion’s “Other names” section.[edit]

I wish to add the name MAKE OUT HILL and lildickgirl666 to XXXTentacion’s “Other names” section. MAKE OUT HILL was used as X’s username on Instagram [1] and on Twitter [2]. His Instagram and Twitter accounts are both verified. The second name mentioned, lildickgirl666, was used as a username for his gaming. This is evident on his YouTube videos. One instance was his video [3], when 30 seconds in you can see his username as lildickgirl666. This YouTube account is his official account. Please act on these alterations as soon as possible. Thank you. Kind Philosophy (talk) 22:43, 6 August 2018 (UTC) [reply]

Mugshots[edit]

I am not a fan of mugshots in BLPs (which this still falls under BLP as a recent death) unless the subject is primarily known for a criminal career or an especially notorious crime. They are almost always WP:UNDUE and have the effect of casting the subject in a negative light. This article has two which is grossly UNDUE. I strongly suggest that both be removed. See also WP:MUG. -Ad Orientem (talk) 15:42, 19 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

The subject had used the mugshot as a promotional photograph multiple times, as the cover art for "Look at Me" and included on "What in XXXTarnation", so this may be considered an exception. The only non-mugshot image has been nominated for deletion, so there is a chance we may not have a choice. Lazz_R 16:00, 19 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
The biggest part of this article is the allegations around his alledged crimes and every single article based around his death mentions it, the subject also used the mugshot as a promotional photograph so it obviously wasn't something he saw distaste with.CoughingCookieHeart (talk)
Ok, that's a fair point. But we don't need two mugshots. Use the one he employed for PR and get rid of the 2nd. And the caption of the one we keep should mention that he used it for promotional purposes. -Ad Orientem (talk) 16:29, 19 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah im not going the read all the paragraphs above but could we please change the picture from a mugshot of him with his old look from 2016 to a more recent detailed photo? It does paint him posthumously in a negative light. Imagine if for I don't know lets say actor Vince Vaughn you used his recent mugshot for his wiki photo. It just paints a negative image. most of this information surrounding his crimes is either exaggerated or wrong. i knew him and his girlfriend both at the time of the accusation and what really happened is incredibly different to what is on here, also, most of the information surrounding his music is also wrong. Although his first few songs that he released to the public were very "loud and aggressive", you'll find most of his songs prior to march 2017 are very mellow and chilled out. I don't deny that he did release 3 or 4 loud songs after that, but that's nothing to compare to the amount of relaxed songs he made. Jahseh also supported several charities for depression. It is not mentioned very well in the page that after the death of his close friend Jocelyn Amparo Flores (the song Jocelyn Flores is about her, I'm sue you know), he became a big voice for many children/teens or just people in general that have depression. In one of the last live videos before his death, he says that "worst comes to worst" he dies a tragic death, but before he died, he wanted to change the lives of at least 5 million young people, and IM sure he did just that.

PLEASE take these things into consideration, and please allow me to edit the page. Thank you 101.164.178.66 (talk) 10:10, 22 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
