Deaths of Benoit & Guerrero[edit]

I added that both champions would be dead within three years of the event, only for it to be removed. I think it's very noteworthy, no-one agree? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Markcookney (talkcontribs) 03:17, August 20, 2007 (UTC).

I don't think so. 76.110.82.251 (talk) 00:14, 19 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please mention this earlier in the article

'As a result, Benoit won the match and the World Heavyweight Championship, crying tears of joy. After the match, Eddie Guerrero came to the ring and the two champions embraced while confetti dropped as the event ended. Tragically, both men would die within four years of the event.'

2A00:23C6:AF08:E701:FC9E:900B:AE2C:2B06 said 'No need for that last sentence.' re 'Tragically, both men would die within four years of the event.' why!?!?!?!?! I'm going to add it back.

Photos position[edit]

Why when I've always kept putting the photos related with articles who got a relation with wrestling, two collaborators kept reversing the job I do? Sincerely I'm tired and I demand and answer of those guys. I think that and article with a good order was easier to read. The WM XX article, in the actual revision was disorganized (as I see), and looks like made by a beginner in Wikipedia. Xbox6

It's because your edits created huge white spaces (which look ugly and make the article look like a mess). Besides, the pictures say who is in them. TJ Spyke 21:36, 14 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
That's was probably because of how it looks for the users of Internet Explorer and for the users of Firefox. Maybe was that. But that means that Wikipedia and Firefox are incompatible? Xbox6
Yeah, there has been problems for Firefox using Wikipedia before as well. TJ Spyke 22:36, 15 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

?[edit]

Why does it say Jamie Noble eliminated Funaki in 2:23 when he eliminated him seconds after Funaki entered the match? 82.37.180.35 22:15, 17 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Because he was eliminated 2 minutes and 23 seconds into the match. Not 2 minutes and 23 seconds after he entered the match.-- bulletproof 3:16 22:20, 17 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

US Title being defended for the first time[edit]

I believe that you should post why the United States Championship was defended for the first time at this event. There's no reason not to.

Adam1090 05:21, 11 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It doesn't matter because the title couldn't have been defended at a WrestleMania during that period anyways since it wasn't a WWE belt at the time, thus making that note redundant-- bulletproof 3:16 05:32, 11 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Results[edit]

Where have all the results gone??? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ryd2603 (talkcontribs)

Vandal removed them, they have been restored. If you see something like that happen, check the History tab and you can revert it yourself. TJ Spyke 00:11, 30 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Why are the results now in a table? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Yawgnimehdog (talkcontribs)

New consensus at WP:PW per a featured article review. Gavyn Sykes (talk) 23:19, 16 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

No mention of...[edit]

the celebration Guerrero and Benoit after Benoit won?

It was a big moment (at the time anyway) for those 2. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 77.99.186.110 (talk) 18:25, 9 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Manager[edit]

Please add that Chavo Guerrero Sr. manged Chavo Guerrero in his match,I do not have a link, but on the WrestleManix XX DVD,its shows him comming out,and the announcer says that Chavo Guerrero had Chavo Guerrero Sr. as a manager so please add this it is wrong for it not to be posted. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Nudist1 (talkcontribs) 10:26, 21 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The (w/) means that came out with them or before the match starts. We don't include people who come out in the middle of the match. TJ Spyke 15:47, 21 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Shouldn't these be WM19 since WM25 is being call WM24 —Preceding unsigned comment added by Supermike (talkcontribs) 15:21, 6 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

No it's not. Stop spamming the talkpages of other WrestleManias with this. ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 15:27, 6 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned references in WrestleMania XX[edit]

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of WrestleMania XX's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

DVD edits.[edit]

The main event of Benoit V. Michaels V HHH was deleted and the Undertake V. Kane match is now billed is the main event on the dvds. This is of course part of wwe's policy of making Benoit a ghost in their archives. Doesn't that warrant some kind of mention considering it was a massively popular match and such a pivotal one? (James123f (talk) 03:23, 19 October 2012 (UTC))[reply]

Do you have a source for this? I've got a 2010 copy of the event with the triple threat intact.Koberulz (talk) 14:40, 21 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I wouldn't pay him any attention. It's obviously not true (not to mention out-of-date). A quick search for the DVD on Amazon reveals that the match is still there. Hell, even their website still mentions that Benoit won. — Richard BB 14:44, 21 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

how many WrestleManias in NYC?[edit]

"WrestleMania XX was the third WrestleMania at Madison Square Garden but the fifth to take place in the New York metropolitan area (following WrestleMania I, WrestleMania 2, WrestleMania X and Wrestlemania 29)" -- This makes no sense, as 29 comes AFTER XX by nine years. So the word "following" appears to be wrong ... didn't want to change it in case I was missing something. Could someone clarify?

Vandalism?[edit]

Someone made edits removing the name of Chris Benoit. Was this vandalism? --71.95.155.69 (talk) 07:39, 19 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Mixed Reviews not positive reviews[edit]

Everyone knows that WrestleMania 20 received mixed to negative reviews, look at the past format from 2012 and it was like that up till then. After that new kids who stared to watch wrestling like for what 5 years? started to edit ppv receptions based on their own perception., No one who watched WWE in 2004, including me will tell you WM 20 was a great show, every matches but the main events sucked. But I am not telling that it should be written mixed reviews just for that. Just look a whats written in the section, two reviewers have been named, Robert Leighty who gave the event a 7.3/10 which is positive, while John Powell gave it a 4/10 which is negative (which is how most feels). So what does his reflect when the referred reviewers give opposing reviews? MIXED REVIEWS! There is no validity to suggest it received mostly positive reviews, and it should be refereed to as mixed reviews like it was until 2012, before new kids started editing Wikipedia and we had legitimate editors. I suggest appropriately writing that the event had a mixed review, and all sources here suggests that! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Bengoman1993 (talkcontribs) 16:47, 5 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

WWE Tag Team Match Fatal Four Way[edit]

Article reads that Rikishi pinned Doug Basham to win the match. Commentator Michael Cole said that Rikishi pinned Danny Basham to win the match. Very difficult to determine which Basham is which since they were are twins. Very difficult to be certain before making an edit. Please confirm and possibly edit article? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Lbkid1700 (talkcontribs) 05:57, 12 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks so much! I have done some research and every WP:RS I checked says it was Danny, so I have updated the article accordingly. I included a reference inline as well to avoid any confusion. - GalatzTalk 19:30, 12 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
