Weasel words, lack of references

I believe this article currently violates WP:AWW due to the following sentence:

• It is claimed by many that the apparent quotes from other England players on "The B-Side" were faked by Keith Allen as he didn't believe that the players could sing well enough.

This article also makes various non-weasel statements without attribution -- it does not cite any sources. I don't really feel that I am knowledgeable enough about the song (although I own a copy of it) to clean this up myself. -- Darthsco 04:31, 21 January 2007 (UTC)

Well, my contribution was responsible for the one and only reference in the article (^_^) Anyway, I slapped an "unreferenced" notice on the article (one reference doesn't excuse the rest...) Fourohfour 16:21, 21 January 2007 (UTC)

The quotes on "The B-Side" are very obvious impersonations (presumably by Allen). Is this because "he didn't think that the players coud sing well enough"? Unlikely. More likely, they were just placeholders for the proper rap to be added later. However, it was decided to go with the Stephen Hague-produced version instead so the impersonations were left on "The B-Side". Perhaps a more pertinent question is, did Allen intend for the rap to be shared among the players, or was it always the plan to have one player do the whole thing? -88.109.80.168 (talk) 15:58, 16 February 2008 (UTC)

Reportage

Ha ha, that's putting it mildly! Look up the Reportage credits on YouTube and you'll hear more than "some similarities". They basically took the Reportage theme and added words. And frankly, why not? --86.137.210.242 (talk) 22:20, 9 July 2014 (UTC)
