Interlanguage links[edit]

Wow, if I ever came across an article that screamed out for a picture... ;)

The 'interlanguage links' section is very strange. Normally, if an equivalent article exists in another 'pedia, we link to it like this: de:German name of article. Then is appears in a small list on the left hand side under the toolbox (in the default skin, at least). Linking to articles that aren't even the same topic? That's not done. There are over 100 language 'pedias and it would quickly get out of hand.

Also, the "see also" section is really too long. If links are made in the main article (as they should be), they don't really need to be there as well.

Lastly, take a look at WP:NOR and start digging out some sources...

Thank you. I removed interlanguage section, and reduced see also section. Will look at WP:NOR as well. Dandelion1 01:24, 5 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Removal of notsportcycling template[edit]

I removed {{notsportcycling}} because it really doesn't have that much to do with the article. --Christopherlin 02:50, 9 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Images[edit]

Does anyone else think there are too many images on this page? AnemoneProjectors (talk) 11:29, 22 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I guess not... AnemoneProjectors (talk) 22:18, 7 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I do...we get it - they're naked. --George2001hi 00:01, 23 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Someone has since changed a lot of the images and they are slightly more appropriate now, rather than just showing naked people for the sake of it. Though I think there probably are still too many! The in-line skater one is good though (but then I would say that since I took it!) AnemoneProjectors 10:52, 23 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I'm currently trying to deal with censorship issues relating to linking to the http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/World_Naked_Bike_Ride page. On sites such as Facebook, the first image that is chosen to accompany that link is http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:London_WNBR_2011_3.jpg . Is there a change that can be made to the http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/World_Naked_Bike_Ride page (other than removing that image) which would result in another image, such as http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Banner_protesting_vehicle_emissions_at_the_World_Naked_Bike_Ride,_Auckland,_New_Zealand_-_20050217.jpg , being the first image chosen? In some cases you can choose from a number of images to accompany the link, but in other cases you can't. The problem arises in the cases where you can't choose the image. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.79.95.190 (talk) 20:40, 6 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I don't think there's anything we can do here to change what Facebook chooses as an image - though I can't be 100% sure on that. I suppose it's up to the individual sharing the link to choose an image on Facebook. –AnemoneProjectors– 15:40, 7 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

There are quite a few too many images; the article is practically bloated with them, especially on mobile. Belsima (talk) 14:17, 16 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I removed the two images that that aren't of the event (more like after the event) and appear to just be there for the sake of it. — ᴀnemoneᴘroᴊecтors 11:54, 23 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Questionable neutrality[edit]

Language in this article ranges from suggestiveness to a degree shy of blatant advertisement. Flagged. .Absolution. (talk) 00:57, 19 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Start date[edit]

The start date is inaccurate. I can faithfully attest that critical ass occurred in Portland Or, USA well before 2001. It was before Bush, and before y2k even. Furthermore, the pun critical ass only makes sense in English; giving some credence to my claim. I didn't start college until 2001 and it was going on while I was still in high school years before. Due to radical associations within some group participants (relative, questionable) few have been willing to come forward or make claims due to FBI investigation into potentially illegal activities. At the time it was not a "well established tradition". —Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.246.18.187 (talk) 20:55, 2 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This is WNBR, not Critical Ass. –AnemoneProjectors– 23:38, 30 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

WNBR wiki site does not work[edit]

I don't know if anyone else has noticed this, but the WNBR wiki site does not work. Accessing it at all gives an error message about an invalid function. Seeing as pretty much everything about the WNBR is now on the wiki site, it's pretty much impossible to find out where and when the 2012 events are going to be held, if they even are. I can't even contact the WNBR website staff about this, because their contact information is also on the non-working WNBR wiki site. JIP | Talk 18:54, 17 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Works for me. --TBM10 (talk) 21:29, 17 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I just checked, and it still doesn't work for me. Any page under the site http://wiki.worldnakedbikeride.org gives an error message. JIP | Talk 21:39, 17 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Here is what I see in my browser when trying to access the wiki page. JIP | Talk 21:45, 17 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Hey, it just started working again. Apparently they noticed the problem themselves and fixed it. JIP | Talk 18:52, 19 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Mess[edit]

This article is a mess. I just did a bunch of work on it, but it has a long way to go. Almost all of it was unsourced; I trimmed much of the unsourced material. Of the cited sources, most are not reliable. It needs a lot of work. SunCrow (talk) 04:55, 13 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
