Blood of dragons is not the only game authorized by G.M. http://www.westeros.it/ is an italian text-based GDR that i know has been authorized as well. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 51.21.113.28 (talkcontribs)

Are there any reliable sources about it?  Sandstein  06:54, 1 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

World of Ice and Fire[edit]

Doesn't this deserve its own page? It has almost as much notoriety as the main series, large sales, and the Silmarillion gets its own article. Not sure about the procedure for this, or what qualifies work for a page of its own, but it does seem inconsistent for it to only have 1 line on this page. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 151.226.128.111 (talk) 10:58, 29 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Perhaps the section for the book can be beefed up with citations regarding its notoriety and sales, but at this point there isn't enough to make an entire article. The Silmarillion has been around for many years so it has been analyzed and mentioned in other contexts, so there is more material to cover. What we definitely don't want to do is go into a lot of detail about the contents, except as they might be mentioned and made notable by external sources.— TAnthonyTalk 15:22, 31 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Upon further reflection I changed my mind and created the stub.— TAnthonyTalk 18:24, 1 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Move this page!!![edit]

Someone move this page to A Song of Ice and Fire (franchise). — Preceding unsigned comment added by AffeL (talkcontribs) 16:20, December 7, 2015

It's procedure for you to make a case for such a move, see WP:Requested moves.— TAnthonyTalk 16:27, 7 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Actually, I expected the user to make the case so that I could oppose it... so I've moved it back. The title is wrong. The scope of this list is broader than only "official", franchise works. It also contains other derived works such as parodies and cookbooks by third parties. Besides, nowhere in the article is the assertion made that there is such a thing as a ASOIAF franchise.  Sandstein  21:06, 10 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I agree, this is essentially a list. A franchise article would cover the works but go more into depth on reception, themes etc. The A Song of Ice and Fire could ultimately morph into such, like Star Wars.— TAnthonyTalk 23:26, 10 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
