    • The sentence "The Wolfen were not werewolves, but in fact a more advanced version of a wolf which sat above man on the food chain." seems very out of place in the Production section. werewolf vs. wolf-human soul exchange.[edit]

It would all depend upon one's definition of "werewolf." a heck of a lot of cultures have such ideas, but they are not all the same. in western movies, people, almost always men, become werewolves when their bodies change. but in many cultures the idea is that the skinchanger's soul enters the body of the animal, as we see in George RR Martin's "Song of Ice and Fire" series. Bran's body stays behind, sleeping and unchanged, when he enter's his wolf's body and Hodor's body.
