I have never heard the term Wiper, I would say that is not common usage. I have been around anglers my entire life, I am one, no one calls them wipers, that's colloquial at best. This article should be titled Hybrid striped bass.A mcmurray 01:54, 18 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Since no one responded I moved the article to Hybrid striped bass. This redirect goes to the diambig page, where wiper will send you directly to hybrid striped bass, hope this doesn't inconveinence anyone.
