Odd half-sentence[edit]

The article claims that, "Winter Words is one of Britten's few compositions from the period after the premiere of his opera Gloriana". Winter Words was published before Gloriana, so I'm not sure this is right at all, but even if it is, which "period" are we talking about? He composed a great many pieces in "the period after... Gloriana". Am I missing something? Also, this is followed, after a semicolon, by a completely unrelated half-sentence.
