"Fall release"[edit]

The point is taken that it needs clarification, but unfortunately the link (which is now dead) simply said "fall" so I can't presumptuously say anything beyond that. It would seem that if they purchaed it in April 2012, which is already autumn in SA (correct?), and because T.D. Jakes is a USA company, they meant a U.S. fall, but again, I can't presume that. The movie has not yet been released that I can see (as of Oct. 12) so my plan was to simply keep an eye on it and then around January-ish, note something like "T.D. Jakes purchased rights to the film and planned a 2012 release but as of [insert date], it has not yet been released..." Something like that. If anyone else has more concrete news, I would welcome the edit. Tx.Bobbyandbeans (talk) 17:30, 12 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Yes Autumn 2012 has come and gone in South Africa - in fact it's spring right now! The habit of dating events by season that have no real connection to geography and or climate, is often frustrating. So we're in a "wait and see" situation now, luckily WP has no deadlines... Roger (talk) 17:45, 12 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I have friends in South Africa (including an actor in this movie) and know it was a rough winter this year! I'm trying to keep an eye on this movie but you're right, it's all "wait and see" and nothing looks promising for a release, unfortunately. When I get more info, I'll add it.
