Confusing sentence[edit]

I don't understand the sentence,

"The technical wind energy potential is estimated to be about 114 GW of capacity in regions where the wind speed is higher than 7.0 meters above the ground at 50 meters’ height"

7.0 meters is not a speed. I realize that this sentence is copied directly from the source (another problem), but I still don't understand what it is saying. Leschnei (talk) 13:47, 18 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Must have been a typo for 7 metres per second. What else needs improving please? Chidgk1 (talk) 11:34, 24 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
