Lanterne rouge[edit]

If, as seems likely, he wins this for a third year, this will be truly notable! What would be helpful would be an explanation for why he's always last. Does he have particuarly grotty jobs in his team? eg is it he that shepherds those that having a bad day? Or is he a terrible climber? almost-instinct 11:14, 26 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

His profile on the team site (linked in External links) (in Dutch) basically says he's a faithful domestique. It talks about him riding in the wind in the mountains, fetching bidons, and so on.
