Tone and substance[edit]

This entry is taken from a 1911 encyclopedia article, so much of its tone and substance (for example, the devotion to Austinian jurisprudence) is very out of date. Could someone take a look at it and try to revise?--P.D. (talk) 13:33, 1 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
