On 28 December 1630, Sir Archibald Douglas, 5th of Whittingehame, son and heir of the previous couple

There is no 'previous couple' mentioned in the section in which this statement is made. If it is being asserted that Sir Archibald was the son of William Douglas and Elizabeth Maitland, then this should be clarified. Although some sources indicate that this is not correct, Wikipedia editors seem to agree that this is so. Shipsview (talk) 20:04, 13 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
