Dubious[edit]

The claimed population figure of 625 (Census 2001) is not supported by the Census. Wheeny Creek is known as a "Gazetted Locality", which is not reported separately by the Census. Instead, its population is included in the larger area of Mountain Lagoon. In the 2011 census, that larger area of Mountain Lagoon recorded a total population of 327 people. --Gronk Oz (talk) 07:49, 22 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
