Origin of the title[edit]

I don't believe the title comes from Monty Python's Life of Brian. There was a whole slew of these programs all similarty titled "What the [fill in the blank] did for us?" the blank being Georgians, Victorians, Elizabethans etc. It would be more useful to provide this information and links to the other series that this piece of misinformation. 96.54.55.67 (talk) 22:33, 8 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

But this was the first of these titles - the others came on the back of the Romans series - though I've not tracked down a reference, I'd be reasonably certain it was inspired by Monty Python. Geopersona (talk) 16:31, 20 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Order of episodes[edit]

Episode 2 in the invasion, but before that there was already life of luxury inherited from the Romans? How does that work? Rui ''Gabriel'' Correia (talk) 17:02, 8 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
