comments[edit]

This is a wonderful article, for the most part nicely written and illustrated, and thorough in its coverage of the Westerwald. For the B class rating, the article could use additional citations and a copy edit. The copy editing needs are minor, but would help to sharpen the prose, prior to a GA assessment.

A few karst caves are of interest to spelaeology and bring about the temporary disappearance and reappearance of the Erdbach. this sentence is confusing. What temporarily disappears and reappears? The stream travels underground? A few karst caves are of interest to spelaeology (why?).
