Western Star 49X[edit]

I'm not exactly sure if this truck would belong to the 4900 model range or if it's a completely different model range. Anyone know the answer to this? (only asking because it seems like it's a separate model range but a 49 model range isn't mentioned on the page at all) Blaze The Wolf | Proud Furry and Wikipedia Editor (talk) 17:38, 31 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

It's a new model. While the 47X/48X/49X/ have similar powertrains (engines/transmissions/axles) to the 4700/4800/4900, they x-series have different frames, cabs, and hoods than their predecessors. Bill Beers (talk) 17:47, 3 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
