Not true. The Constitution of the Western Cape states, in section 9(1): "The legislative authority of the Western Cape is vested in the Provincial Parliament." It should also be clear from http://www.wcpp.gov.za/ that it refers to itself as the Provincial Parliament. In this respect the Western Cape differs from the other provinces, which use "Provincial Legislature" or just "Legislature". - htonl (talk) 20:32, 25 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
