Proposed deletion of File:West Michigan Ironmen Helmet Logo 2017.png[edit]

The file File:West Michigan Ironmen Helmet Logo 2017.png has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Redundant non-free file which is not needed per WP:NFCC#3a because it provides basically the same encyclopedic information to the reader that File:WestMichiganIronmen.png (also being used in the infobox of the same article) does, The only difference between the two infobox files is that one is of the logo and one is of the logo on a helment. There's nothing unique about the helmet imagery that requires that it be seen per WP:NFCC#8 and nothing about it (e.g. its color) which cannot be described using simple text per WP:FREER. One of the two files is fine, but are not needed. Since the logo is more clearly seen in the logo file, keeping that file makes the most sense.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. -- Marchjuly (talk) 00:46, 11 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
