Game's Plot[edit]

I've taken the initiative of hiding the game's plot. At the moment, the game is currently in an Alpha state, so I think we should only reintroduce the plot when the game is fully released. If possible, we could reintroduce it, only to cover the setting, but the rest of it covering the story should be done when the game is fully released.GUtt01 (talk) 11:39, 31 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

The plot is needed as it was as it only covered the setup and setting to explain the gameplay elements. There's no reason to remove it just because it is in an alpha/early access state, as its clear that that setting is how they want to go with the game from the developer statements. Some small details might change, but not the entire plot, and if they do, we just update it then. --MASEM (t) 12:17, 31 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

WeHaveTwelveFeet (talk) 14:20, 6 August 2016 (UTC)I see that GUtt01 has reverted my changes to the premise of the game. There are several errors in the reversion. Among them, there is no Nazi Germany in the game. In the game timeline, Hitler was overthrown in 1941. The inhabitants of Wellington Wells did not defeat the Germans by doing the Very Bad Thing. They did the Very Bad Thing while occupied by the Germans.[reply]

I believe it would be best that the Setting doesn't state which nation/power invaded Britain, until the developers, Compulsion Games, finish the game's narrative and finalised the game's Plot and Setting. While this is in an alpha/early state and the setting is how the developers want the game world as, how it got here may not be finalised, so we should wait until they can provide full details on the Plot; we still have yet to know if they plan to include two more playable characters as they plan and their backstories if they are implemented for the final release. Once we get more reliable information, then we can amend the Setting. GUtt01 (talk) 17:48, 6 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Origin of the name[edit]

Surprised that this article doesn't seem to discuss the source of the name at all -- "we happy few" is presumably a literary allusion, from the famous St Crispin's Day Speech. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.191.172.40 (talk) 00:47, 18 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

It may seem obvious but we'd need the developer to state (in a reliable source) that that was the source of their name. --Masem (t) 00:50, 18 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
