The name Water Works Corner is inaccurate[edit]
I have now identified a number of sources, none of which quote the name as Water Works Corner (I am aware of the historic Water Works Company name). I am also aware of the restricted-space available on the roadside marker boards which show the identification stacked as:
WATER
WORKS
as seen in Google Streetview
similar to Rhencullen being shown as
RHEN
CULLEN
seen in this image File:Sidecar at Rhencullen, Isle of Man.jpg.
The area is clearly two right-hand corners when taken in the direction of the race course, as stated in the historic citation I added in July 2015. To quote a different source: Waterworks Section. "Tight right. Even tighter right again."
I therefore propose to rename the article as Waterworks, Isle of Man. Any objectors please state your case and sources.--Rocknrollmancer (talk) 19:42, 16 December 2015 (UTC)
