Hello, my name is Oliver Lucier and I created this article as part of an assignment for the class Poverty, Justice, and hUman Capabilities at Rice University. Please feel free to add educated edits.

Congratulations for this article, which is a very good start. I particularly like the historical context, the coverage of current issues, and the section on environmental issues. If you are interested and have the time to improve this article further - something that many students unfortunately lack, because they need to move on to their next assignment - you may want to consider the following areas for further improvement: The section on "human issues" is fairly general and its content could apply to many other countries - it would benefit from being more specific to Zimbabwe, similar to the section on the environment. The section on institutions is limited to institutions at the national level, with no information on local institutions that operate water supply systems. Finally, a lot of useful information on water supply and sanitation is containted in the following document that you may want to consult: http://www.wsp.org/sites/wsp.org/files/publications/CSO-Zimbabwe.pdf. Great Start

Reviewed by Rice University student, Camila Kennedy. This is a strong article that I found informative yet easy to read. I enjoyed your sections on "Human Concerns" and agree with Mschiffler that you could even expand on this some. I also like that you included a section on environmental consequences, but it still left me wanting to know more about the effects of water sanitation on animals and wildlife. In your section on "Institutional overview," I was wondering whether there was any information on non-profit organizations or local social movements related to water sanitation/environmental health. Great new article, some points for improved clarification

Great job writing a comprehensive, well sourced, and neutral new article. The only section that remains a little unclear to me is your subsection on UN Development Goal under human concerns. The title here doesn’t reflect the subject of the content on public defecation. It would be helpful if the title of this section was changed or it was expanded to include other UN development goals that relate to Zimbabwe’s water supply issues.
