Question[edit]

Is the figure on human's needing to consume 20 litres of water per day accurate? 70.76.244.118 00:03, 2 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I believe that the consumption he mentions is not just ingestion (i.e. also washing, cleaning, etc.) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Vietminh (talkcontribs) 02:49, March 27, 2007 (UTC)

Merger proposal[edit]

I propose that Water justice be merged into Water politics. I think that the content in the water justice article can easily be explained in the context of Water politics, as most of the extra ideas would find a natural place in the politics article. the article contains information that is also found in Water rights. Water justice and rights are very similar terms but the essential ideas are about politics. Domdeparis (talk) 13:18, 27 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Proposal is spot-on. The "justice" moniker is unneeded. Moreover, it smacks of POV, as in "social justice". – S. Rich (talk) 13:25, 27 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Agreed. Quebec99 (talk) 17:35, 27 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Adding to my comment, various parts of the article belong in other articles, such as water distribution, purity, etc. – S. Rich (talk) 15:46, 28 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I third the motion. I think we should also split off the Ganges river conflicts. Neilc314 (talk) 03:59, 22 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Sources[edit]

Hello, There are many sources in this wikipedia that are from news outlets that are not peer reviewed and might be accidentally introducing bias to the article. Some examples that are currently cited in the article are the following sources: 46, 47, 49, 100, 101. There are many many more examples, but I won't list them all. It would help this article's credibility to find stronger sources to report from, especailly since this is article is about water politics and news sources are likely to be biased towards certain countries, agents, and political actors.
