I'm pretty convinced that he was born 29 Oct 1941. see https://paperspast.natlib.govt.nz/newspapers/AS19411030.2.2 Parents Vivian Hamilton Godfrey and Aumihi (nee Ihaka) https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/164207961/vivian-hamilton-godfrey who were married in 1931. Looking for some proof. Should add that he won the NZ Amateur on 23 Oct 1958, so 16 but only just. Nigej (talk) 18:26, 4 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
