Article reinstated[edit]
This was a major movie release. Why was the article removed on the basis of a plot synopsis? Made no sense. I've putting the article back where it belongs. Anyone wants to write a new synopsis can do so. Reference in influential pop culture[edit]
Is it notable enough to be worth including that in season 3, episode 12 of Breaking Bad, Half Measures, the character Mike Ehrmantraut references this film? To be more specific, he compares the appearance of a domestic abuser turned wife killer he had to deal with regularly as a corrupt beat cop in Philadelphia to Bo Svenson in his role as Buford Pusser in this movie.
I noticed this just now when rewatching the 3rd season Breaking Bad episode on Netflix on my PS5 just now, and it made me think about this when I paused and looked it up on my phone.
