water and network coverage[edit]

water is a key element to the development of any region and its people. You cannot be able to talk matters development substantively without talking about issues around water. Wajir constituency and the entire North Eastern region in Kenya has been characterized by devastating effects of drought and famine. Most of families in these parts of the Kenyan country faces starvations and malnutrition as compared to their counterparts in the other parts of the country. There has been several bills that have been discussed in the national assembly with regard to how droughts and famine must be addressed in these particular regions but little to nothing has been done to reverse these devastating effects of droughts and famine which continues to threaten their own existence as well as those of their livestock's. Policies that I do believe could be of great significance to these regions Includes DRILLING OF BOREHOLES IN EVERY WARD AND CONNNECTING THEM through pipes so that these dear citizens are accorded decent lives and existence of their livestock which is also a source of their livelihoods.

network coverage gives access to faster information and to the outside world ,affordable and available internet access will play a critical role in ensuring that people get faster access to information and thus becoming aware of whats going on around the world and other parts of the country. Digital economy has now come and with the availability of accessible and affordable internet coupled with proper training for online businesses will provide a platform on which people of these regions can tap into this economy and have a diversified economic activity that isn't entirely dependent on the elements of weather for its own existence and sustainability.

with sustainable supply of food and water, insecurity is deemed to reduce and eventually be an issue of the past .
