Origin of Craters of the Moon[edit]

My understanding is that the Craters of the Moon are a purely natural occurrence, which is supported by the Wikipedia entry. Yet the caption to the photo here says it was "created by the use of geothermal energy changing the underground pressure situation [sic]". Apart from the poor English, this does not seem to be correct.Royalcourtier (talk) 20:35, 8 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

(Belated reply) The article Craters of the Moon (geothermal site) says the craters appeared as the result of human activity, although there were previous steam vents and hot springs.-gadfium 03:11, 20 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
