Fair use rationale for Image:TodaysMGT.PNG[edit]

Image:TodaysMGT.PNG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

List of current anchors on the air[edit]

If you remove the current on-air anchor section, then you might as well remove all anchor sections from all the pages on Wikipedia. I know I would like to see who is on the air through here and I'm sure many others do as well. --Chrismaster1 (talk) 19:00, 8 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I have removed the staff and former staff that is/was not notable. In order for lists of people be included, they must meet the criteria listed at WP:LISTPEOPLE. This isn't the first station article this has been discussed on, and articles have been protected to prevent these additions, or the editors in question blocked when they persistently continue to reinsert inappropriate material. If a name is included in the article in this way, it has to show that it's relevant to the subject by meeting WP:LISTPEOPLE. Just because a station lists its employees doesn't mean Wikipedia needs to as well, and other station articles needing similar cleanup doesn't mean this one doesn't need to be cleaned up, because whenever it's actually discussed on a station article, the end result is the same; the names that don't meet WP:LISTPEOPLE are removed. Wikipedia is also not a directory. A discussion is currently being discussed here. A list of previous discussions are listed below: Corkythehornetfan (Talk) 19:08, 8 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I understand about not including former airstaff, I do agree believe me because it can get annoying by naming each and every anchor that was ever at the station (ex. WMAZ-TV). But, if people would like to find out a little more about a station and who's on it, don't you think it would be better to include them on the wikipedia page? I mean, not all TV station websites have their anchors listed on their website. Just saying.--Chrismaster1 (talk) 19:18, 8 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I agree, but they need to meet Wikipedia guidelines. Like I've stated, Wikipedia is not a directory and they need to be notable per WP:LISTPEOPLE. Please don't add the names of non-notable people again. I am removing them. Corkythehornetfan (Talk) 19:28, 8 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
