Fair use rationale for Image:K-LOVElogosmall.png[edit]

Image:K-LOVElogosmall.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 04:56, 5 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

WAKLWYAY (FM) – new callsign Georgia guy (talk) 00:08, 2 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • Comment. The (FM) dis-ambiguation suffix has absolutely nothing to do with Flint, Michigan; it stands for the kind of broadcasting and it contrasts with AM and TV. To support this, the WAKL (FM) article is not titled WAKL (AG), which it would have to be titled as in order to follow the rule based on a mis-interpretation of the meaning of FM that someone who moved the page was under the impression of. Georgia guy (talk) 00:44, 2 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Move to WKMF: This was not a call swap with the the Georgia station. While that station did change from WYAY to WAKL, requiring a call change for the Flint, Michigan station, the former WAKL in Flint actually changed to WKMF, and that is the current call sign — and thus WKMF, not WYAY, should be reflected in the title per our naming conventions for US radio stations. I've already had to revert a move to the WYAY (Flint, Michigan) title that happened despite the existence of this RM. --WCQuidditch 01:22, 2 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Move to WKMF: Station's call sign was changed to WKMF, not WYAY.--Tdl1060 (talk) 09:19, 2 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment: Many Radiator (talk · contribs) has created WKMF in a cut-and-paste move despite this RM's existence. Worse yet, this talk page was itself copied to Talk:WKMF, including this discussion, with the result that now there are two pages being proposed to, in theory, be moved to WYAY (FM) (when neither should be, the early consensus that WKMF appears to be the correct title, and the fact that only one of these pages/discussions should exist). This needs to be dealt with… --WCQuidditch 23:48, 2 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Mlaffs: Can you redo the moves and what not to WKMF, so it's not a cut-and-paste, please? Thanks! - NeutralhomerTalk • 23:58 on June 3, 2019 (UTC)
  • WHAT?!: The station's callsign was changed to WKMF on May 31, 2019. Nowhere in the FCC documents can I find the station changing it's callsign to WYAY. In fact, the WYAY callsign is currently available at the FCC. So, Speedy Close on this nonsense. - NeutralhomerTalk • 13:48 on June 3, 2019 (UTC)
  • Speedy Close: That this request is even still open is mind-boggling. Close this right now. The station is NOT WYAY nor will it be ever. Move this to WKMF right now. Nathan Obral (talk) 04:37, 9 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
