Weak interaction?[edit]
ALPs, especially the original QCD axion, are typically searched for via their couplings to photons, electrons, and quarks. These couplings come from a new Peccei-Quinn (PQ) "force" and have nothing to do with the weak interaction so far as I know. The photon coupling could debatably be considered an electromagnetic coupling, although the axion is electrically neutral. The CERN Courier article says "very weak" or "very weakly" everywhere outside the name WISP itself, which is probably to avoid this ambiguity. I don't think "weak" in the "weak force" sense is intended so I'm removing it. Patallurgist (talk) 02:17, 21 December 2022 (UTC)
