If you look at the German version, you can see that this page has some problems. For example, the Nazis did not create the name of Leslau--it was given to the German part of the town in the 13th century when it received a city charter with rights according to the Laws of Kulm. The Nazis merely made Leslau the official name of the town from 1940 to 1945. Many interesting ethnic German personalities were born there, such as Marie Sivers, the wife of Rudolf Steiner, founder of Waldorf Schools. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 149.10.180.192 (talk) 19:10, 19 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

B-class review failed[edit]

Please, don't remove information in haste[edit]

I started to edit this article, mostly English. So far, i Know it needs more work, but things can't be done at once, people have only so much time. Please, don't remove sections which need citations, instead include notice "citation needed' if you see someone is working on it.This alerts the editor that of course, the part needs sources, but give time. The Jewish Community section was edited as yesterday, and already was removed. I will restore it to the history section. Maybe the editor who wrote this section may provide some sources?--Bialosz (talk) 03:00, 21 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
