{{subst:Volkswagen Westfalia}} This article doesn't follow WP:AT. We don't have Chevrolet Corvette sportscar or Ford F-100 pickup truck for a reason. And even if there were some compelling reason to keep "camper" in the name, it would not be pluralized. It certainly would not be capitalized either. It may be a German vehicle, but this is English not German, and we don't capitalize random nouns and noun phrases simply for being "nouny". Camper isn't German, anyway. The text will need conforming edits (there's lots of capitalized "Camper" going on). The target name Volkswagen Westfalia is a redirect to Westfalia, a short stub that has been forked off of Volkswagen Westfalia Campers by accident because no one cold find it at this weird, non-standard name. Chevrolet and Ford are car/truck models. Westfalia does not make cars or trucks, that is why it is Volkswagen Westfalia Camper. So, no, you logic is not correct here. Telecine Guy (talk) 00:40, 8 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Merge Proposed[edit]

Westfalia, a stub that is an apparently inadvertent content fork from this article, needs to be merged in, as the articles cover precisely the same topic, and this one is better developed, though presently poorly named (thus the above WP:RM). The merged article should be at Volkswagen Westfalia, and Westfalia made into a disambiguation page between this topic and Westphalia, since the former is a pre-Volkswagen spelling of the latter, just not the canonical one, and no one not more-than-casually familiar with both German geography and German autos is statistically likely to remember which is which. Westfalia does not make cars, The Product and Company are different. Westfalia-Werke also converted non-Volkswagen vans, and produced trailers and other products, but they were best known for their Volkswagen camper conversions. So no. Telecine Guy (talk) 00:35, 8 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
