Unsourced info[edit]

I've removed the obviously unsourced, lengthy quotes about this artist's work. There's also little proof about his personal information. I've reworded the intro to describe him as "Soviet-born", because there's no corroboration of the date he came to the UK, or whether he is now a British citizen (the 2009 Daily Telegraph article says he's Russian). There are snatches of information about him in the brief reviews of his recent exhibitions, but nothing much to prove he is a notable artist, per WP:ARTIST. I'd hesitate to nominate the article for deletion on the basis of his possible international profile (and offline sources in Russian?). Sionk (talk) 17:04, 6 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, fair enough. However, does one need to post the copy of their British passport online to make sure that the definition "British" is accepted? RusArtCult (talk) 19:57, 30 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
