Reference[edit]

The reference [1] is not in the English language. Since this is English Wikipedia, could somebody please update the ref to one in the English language? Thank you. Qwerta369 (talk) 08:42, 8 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You are right Qwerta369 but this is the only official announcement for this issue. I took it from the Foreign ministery of Northern Cyprus. I can find unofficial ones but unofficial contents are not proper for wikipedia. I ll keep it in my mind to update the refferencesMaverick16 (talk) 20:17, 9 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

France[edit]

Since France is part of the Schengen Area, entry to one Schengen Country is the same as entry to others, but I'm not quite sure whether the Northern Cyprus passport is valid in Greece, so what is the situation?

Purpose of this page[edit]

As a country Northern Cyprus is not recognized by countries. However with northern cyprus passport you can go some of the countries eventough it is not recognized. This page gives information to the users where they can go.

It should be kept without deleted. Maverick16 (talk) 12:01, 18 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I agree that it is encyclopedic where you can go with a Northern Cypriot passport (which is a limited number), and this is covered at northern Cypriot passport; the group of those that offers visa-free travel however is limited (with sourced info only from turkey). I think that is not enough to keep the page; it requires just a single line on the passport page... I will therefore proceed with a deletion nomination... source[edit]

A key source now is this, stating "-KKTC PASAPORTU İLE SEYAHAT EDİLEBİLECEK ÜLKELER". Can someone translate that into English (does it mean: the passport is accepted in those countries, or visa free entrance?)? Tnx L.tak (talk) 19:46, 3 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not Turkish, I did a quick online translation online using Google translate and this is what it came up with 'PASSPORT TO TRAVEL MAY BE TRNC COUNTRIES' Seric2 (talk) 19:58, 3 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
;-) that's what I did as well, but I have trouble interpreting that exactly (TRNC passport accepted in those countries? or is there any visa free info?)... L.tak (talk) 20:09, 3 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
lol, I see two options. Weight for a native Turkish speaker to translate this, or ask someone. If you/me want to ask someone, I would recommend User Turco85. Not only is he a native Turkish speaker (I think), I have seen his work and he is very good. Seric2 (talk) 09:39, 4 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Hi everyone, the article says that TRNC citizens may make a journey to the U.S, Australia, England, France, Syria, and Turkey with a TRNC passport.Turco85 (Talk) 11:34, 4 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Having said that, I'm pretty sure that TRNC citizens can also enter Azerbaijan...Turco85 (Talk) 11:36, 4 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the translation Turco85 Seric2 (talk) 17:01, 4 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Indeed thanks for clearing that up! L.tak (talk) 17:46, 4 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Glad to help! Happy editing!Turco85 (Talk) 12:11, 5 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

diplomatic visa[edit]

Urgently sources are needed for the diplomatic visa free entry to Azarbaijan, Syria and Pakistan. Unfortunately no "visa policy of" articles of those countries exist, so it is hard to get an overview... Rgds! L.tak (talk) 19:46, 3 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The link to the Foreign Ministry of Northern Cyprus is not working and should be removed. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 108.4.139.74 (talk) 05:18, 27 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
