Influence of J-C Bach[edit]

Is there evidence that Mozart's early compositions were influenced by J.C. Bach? Thanks--71.111.229.19 (talk) 23:51, 9 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Yes. There's a cited note in the next set of sonatas Violin Sonatas, KV 10-15 (Mozart) which were composed in London where I think he first met J.C. Bach. The four sonatas in this set were from the year before in Paris. But overall, yes, much has been written on the influence of Londoners JCBach and Abel on the young Mozart, especially orchestrally.DavidRF (talk) 00:02, 10 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Change from KV to K. ?[edit]

(This includes the other three pages for his early violin sonatas). All of the other pages seem to be using K. instead of KV. For consistency's sake (and to prevent confusion for people new to the subject), it might be better to change these over to "K. "?
