B-Class review for WikiProject Film 30 July 2016[edit]

This article has been checked against the project's criteria for B-Class status:

  1. Referencing and citation: criterion met
A few unsourced statements but no major issues. But do we really need to know that the composer won awards for a later, unrelated film? It doesn't seem relevant.
  2. Coverage and accuracy: criterion not met
This was borderline for me as the article has a good amount of info already. However, there is little info on the film's initial release or broadcast, or about casting, and the brief mention of the assistant director at the start of "Production" makes the section look unfinished. More generally, though by no means a dealbreaker, the lead and plot could do with fleshing out a bit more.
  3. Structure: criterion met
OK, though I'm not sure about "Vincent & Theo in Robert Altman's career", it tends to read like a section of Altman's biography.
  4. Grammar: criterion met
  5. Supporting materials: criterion met

I hope these comments are useful and I don't think the article is too far off B-Class, as indicated above I could have maybe gone either way on the second criterion. See also Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Film for more guidance on writing about films. PC78 (talk) 17:18, 30 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
