This page is a weird duplicate of another[edit]
The proper modern term for "the production of a game on one computer or console that was originally written for another system" is porting. In decades of gaming, I've never heard of it called anything else (certainly not "conversion") until I stumbled upon this article today. Writing this article about porting and titling it "video game conversion" is clearly not in line with the Wikipedia title guidelines.
The parts of the article that refer to porting should be scrapped. If the article is kept, it should only be kept for the concept of arcade conversion, which is a real thing. Henrebotha (talk) 16:06, 8 August 2023 (UTC)
