"Vestre Cemetery"[edit]

The name "Vestre Cemetery" is certainly a hybrid, or bastard if you like? Either it's Vestre Kirkegård, or Western Cemetery. Punkmorten (talk) 20:56, 7 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Rather a late response :). I am happy with Vestre Cemetery as the name we expect English speakers to use (if of course it is) but it would certainly be useful to have a translation to both the full Danish name and of Vestre so English speakers realise that it means Western. Preferably without cluttering the lead too much... Mirokado (talk) 23:08, 24 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Gate or arch?[edit]

"At the end of each cross arm is a 9 metre tall rust coloured iron gate." From the picture it looks like an arch rather than a gate (a gate can be closed). Can someone please check this? Mirokado (talk) 23:11, 24 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

From the Kirkegårdskultur ref it looks like an arch, so I have made that change. Of course correct further if necessary. Mirokado (talk) 23:44, 24 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

My mistake. I thought an arch was ...well...arched...as in no right angles. Thanks for correcting me.:-)Ramblersen (talk) 20:30, 15 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
