Are amygdales sources of precious stones, or semi-precious stones?[edit]

The article says: amygdales ... can be sources of semi-precious stones such as diamonds.\ I believe diamonds are considered to be precious stones, not semi-precious. Soo... either amygdales are sources of precious stones (such as diamonds), or the example of diamonds is wrong. I am no geologists, so I don't know which one is actually right. Can someone who knows fix the article? --Šedý (talk) 22:39, 22 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Title[edit]

Correct article's title should be "Vesicular structure". Structure and texture are slightly different things in petrology. Siim 21:37, 24 July 2005 (UTC) it is also a skin lesion —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.1.207.145 (talk) 01:08, 2 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Actually, the OCR geology textbook lists Vesicular as one of five igneous textures, not structures, along with Porphyritic, Flow Banding, Equigranular and Amygdaloidal. The Talking Toaster (talk) 02:04, 8 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
