Comment[edit]

Does anyone know anything about the piano trio reduction of this piece? I think it was done by one of Schoenberg's students, but that's a bit of a stretch of memory. Anyway, such a reduction does exist, as various piano trios have recordings of it.

Copyvio?[edit]

Although it is nice to have a complete translation of the poem, no proper source is given, and Mary Whittall is a translator who has been active only since about 1979. Surely her work is under copyright, and requires permission to reprint?—Jerome Kohl (talk) 21:26, 20 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

To add to article[edit]

To mention in this article: although it may be assumed it is, this piece does not use 12-tone serial technique. 173.88.246.138 (talk) 01:27, 10 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The 1st paragraph in the section "Music" makes that quite clear. -- Michael Bednarek (talk) 05:18, 10 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
