Improvement[edit]

Some suggestions for improvement:

Why were the ships not equipped with radar? Who was determined to be at fault?
Expand information about the pollution and following cleanup excercise
What has the long-term environmental impact been?
Were the tankers single or double-hulled?
Any subsequent changes to the shipping industry?
The accident appears to have an entry in the Guinness Book of Records
